Affordable Fees...
Our fees are extremely competitive. Can you find lower fees elsewhere? Possibly. But, you must ask yourself what are you getting (losing) by saving money and how much money are you really saving? The truth is that all attorneys are not equally competent. There are good attorneys and hopelessly bad attorneys. We are not suggesting that just because an attorney charges lower fees that he or she is incompetent. However, the decision on which lawyer to retain should not be based solely on the fees charged.

Attorney Lisa A. Modecker is the Owner and Managing Attorney of a successful law practice in Roslindale for over 18 years. Attorney Modecker’s services include representing buyers and sellers in the purchase and/or sale of their homes and assisting small business clients. Also, Attorney Modecker represents families in Child Welfare matters and has served on the Children & Family Law Program Committee for Public Counsel Services Trial Panel since 1998. Attorney Modecker has now added Immigration Law to her practice and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
Attorney Modecker received her Bachelor of Arts, from the University of Northern Colorado, and her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School.
Attorney Modecker is also a member of the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts.
Attorney Modecker is an active volunteer and participant in a number of local organizations:
- Attorney Modecker serves as a volunteer with the Federation for Children with Special Needs and the Aspergers Association of New England, and is on the Roslindale Adult Literacy Community Planning Group which supports English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
- Attorney Modecker has served as the President of the Roslindale Board of Trade for over 4 years and continues to volunteer locally.
- Law Office of Lisa A. Modecker has provided quality legal representation to numerous VAWA clients referred to her from various non-profits and Battered Women Shelters.
- Law Office of Lisa A. Modecker has volunteered in numerous programs throughout the Commonwealth at various campuses providing on-site legal resources for DACA screening.
